Trevor Barry made some headlines today in Ireland, winning the high jump at the Cork City Sports Metting in Ireland's second-largest city. He beat the international field with a clearance of 2.25 meters (7-4.75) that was just a shade under h is 2.29 personal best that he tied at Nationals.
Michael Mathieu was the only other Bahamian competing. He finished a solid third place in the 400 meters with a time of 46.50 after pulling out of the 200.
