Spring break is a time that most high school students spend goofing off with friends, headed to the beach, and generally trying to avoid anything resembling work. However, for students at Colonial High--including some 30 track & field athletes--they saw it as the perfect opportunity to give back to their local community.

FSU Pre-State: Sukhi Khosla Course Record, Barlow Victorious Jason Byrne Oct 12, 2013

It was a big day with a lot of fast times here in Tallahassee. Sukhi Khosla opened the day by coming back from behind to out-power the potent field with a a course record 14:59 in the Boys Elite race. Chiles boys upset Belen Jesuit for the team win. In the Girls Elite race, Caroline Barlow broke out with her first major invitational victory over Emily Edwards in 17:53.

Florida Teams Compete at Great American Jason Byrne Oct 05, 2013

Belen Jesuit, Holy Trinity, Oak Hall, and Bishop Kenny made the trek up to Cary, North Carolina this weekend to compete at the Great American Festival. All in all the teams did okay, with Holy Trinity's girls finishing 8th and Oak Hall girls and Belen Jesuit boys finishing 9th in the Race of Champions.
