National Girls Performer Of The Week Presented By Firefly

Morgan Herbst, a high school junior from Carlsbad (CA), came in the clutch to score the victory last week, earning our National Performer of the Week presented by Firefly honor for Week 14.

Herbst earned the recognition after her performance at the Arcadia Invitational in the 300mH, where she lowered her state-best time by nearly a second better. She took the victory in the event in a time of 41.45. Her previous best mark was a 42.29.

Herbst is now in the U.S. No. 2 position in the 300mH event with her Arcadia showing as well.

For her effort, Herbst amassed over 72-percent of the voting during Week 13 of the National Performer of the Week Poll presented by Firefly.

London Jackson Bray, Katy (TX): Bray got it done this weekend at her UIL Area meet in Katy, Texas. Winning her event in the 100m dash, Bray put down a wind-legal mark of 11.31. This moves the junior up to the current U.S. No. 2 mark for the event. Bray also ran a 23.87 wind-legal 200m, moving her up to U.S. No. 21 in the event; rounding out a solid weekend at the UIL District 19-6A & 20-6A Area Meet

Olivia CieslakHaverford Township (PA): The junior from Pennsylvania has had a solid outdoor season thus far, full of personal bests. Cieslak adds to that list with her new personal best in the 800m over the weekend. Running 2:04.77 at the Fords Track Classic, Cieslak moves up to U.S. No.2 in the 800m distance. 

Jaelyn Williams, Eastlake (CA): Another sophomore superstar, out of Chula Vista, California, Williams is now the U.S. No. 3 in the 3200m with her 10:00.30 performance this past weekend. 

Chazmin JohnsonBerry, Phillip O (NC): The NC State signee launched herself to a new U.S. No. 1 over the weekend at the All American Track Classic. In the long jump event, Johnson jumped to a wind-legal 20-9.5, putting the senior at the top of the rankings. 

Madaleine FeyKilleen Chaparral (TX): The senior out of Texas threw her way to the top of the national rankings over the weekend. At the UIL District 21-5A & 22-5A Area Meet, Fey locked in her spot to regionals in the discus event with her throw of 176-5, winning the event. With a new U.S. No. 1 under her belt, Fey also threw a solid 45-11 in Shot Put, good enough to advance to regionals in the event as well.
